You don't say!?! The last post of any substance was almost two and a half years ago! :)
Thought I should make it official! ;-)
So what are people replacing their TX-1s with? Something small enough to fit in a pocket, with good video, high optical zoom and (I can only hope) manual focus? Is there such a beast?
I'm just going with the iPhone 4. 720p, huge 'viewfinder' and damned convenient. The one thing I miss is the good zoom, but that said, most of my worst work involved a heavy finger on that zoom rocker.
I've replace my TX1 with a Panasonic Lumix DMC- LX5
PLEASE let me join the forums & actually write a reply - as requested on a deconstruction thread, I have laboriously created a A4 page with screw layouts mapped.
Help please, Andy
